Hi,

Is it true that the whitebook trackpad is somehow inferior to the MBP one?

Is it true that the whitebook display is somehow inferior to the MBP one?

Thanks!

If you're talking about the most recent models, they're pretty close to identical in my experience.

The biggest difference between the white and MBP is the lack of a glass cover on the whitebook's screen. (some consider this a plus, less glare)

i just sold my 15" mbp and just purchased the 13" umbw

i'm not sure if it's because the umbw is brand new, but it seems the trackpad is a little more sensitive then the mbp

hard to say on the screen, but i LIKE the fact that theres no glass. theres MUUUUUUUUUCH less glare / reflection now.

no difference in the trackpad, 60% greater colour gamut in the mbp screens

Thanks!

Can this lack of colour gamut be seen somehow in normal usage? Are the colors crisper or more lifelike on MBP screens because of this ?

the colours are deeper and richer on the mbp, although tbh the difference is not that great, and the macbook screens are still excellent.

60% greater colour gamut
