Hello. I've only had my white Macbook for nine months, but the last few months I've had trouble clicking the trackpad. There are times when I have to force it down. The right side of the trackpad seems to be the most problematic. I tried to ignore it, but it only seems to get progressively worse.

if you open up your macbook i think there is a screw you can twist to adjust the pressure on your trackpad. i know the unibodies have it, not sure if the old macbooks do

same thing happened to me, i took it to the apple store, proved to the guy that it did this, he even tried it, and they replaced my trackpad for free. a $450 value, absolutely free! and guess what, i got the last trackpad in stock! =)
