Nothing to say or ask here just got a factory refurb 3rd gen model MacBook pro this Monday and has been using it for the first few days and realised only now that my trackpad is working but I can bearly feel it click.

It's not a big problem, but if anyone is handling the same or if there is somebody to help and has been through it too, it would be great if you could tell me a way to fix it.

Thanks.

The amount of feedback from the trackpad is a user setting. It does not really click it is a feedback motor. Under the Apple symbol select System Preferences. Then select trackpad. On that screen there is an option to set the "Click" sounds/feedback amount.

MacBook Pros switch to trackpads with Haptic feedback in 2015. So they feel and sounds different from early units.

Also check for swelled batteries.
My 2012 MBP had this issue and I had to replace the swollen battery as well as reset the T type screw that controls the amount of trackpad movement due to the swollen battery.

Now all is perfect.
