hi there
i have and aluminum macbook 2.0
but recently i have notice that my trackpad dosent really work :S
sometimes it wont click when i do it
or when i try to drag a windows i have to press it really hard:eek:
and if i try to drag it only one finger its really hard :(
what should i do?
has anyone else got this problem?:p

check your battery, mine was doing the same and the problem was that the battery was "growing".

I had the same problem for months now, took it into the Genius Bar and they wouldn't do anything about it so I decided it try and fix it myself.

Underneath the battery where the trackpad is there is a small three-pointed screw. I loosened/tightened this (can't remember) and now it's working perfectly.

Hope this is helps.

Someone had a similar problem but it was fixed with knowing that the top of the trackpad is and has always been hard to press. I thought mine was broken too at first.

Otherwise, a visit to the GBar may be in order.
