Trackpad problems? (10.13.2b1)

I'm not sure if this is a problem in this beta (I think I've had it in 10.13.1 betas as well) or possibly a hardware issue. On my late 2013 15-inch rMBP, clicking the trackpad is unreliable. Tapping it, OTOH, is not.

I also use BetterTouchTool. I have, however, encountered this even after quitting BTT.

Anyone else seeing this? Is there something to debug whether the click registers at all?

Despite what the blog says, there's a new pre-release that — knock on wood — seems to work far better so far.
