trackpad scratching the screen vertically ?

Hello,

When touching my trackpad, I can feel that it's not perfectly aligned with the body of the Macbook.
Recently I have noticed a vertical line appearing on the screen which matches exactly with the left side of the trackpad.

Has anyone else noticed that the trackpad was scratching the screen ?

That may happen if the battery is swelling and pushing it up. If so, you should bring it in immediately (without closing the lid) and get the battery replaced before it does more damage.
