Trackpad slow to respond

Hi

I've got a 2016 MBP, i'm seeing issues with the mouse pointer being unresponsive or not visible for a time period after the mac booting or waking up.

Is anyone else seeing this?

The trackpad on my 2015 MacBook has got really skittish after upgrading to High Sierra; there are lags & it jumps. So moving files is a bit random, for a start

The Mac Trackpad has always been far better than Windows equivalents, but mine is now pretty poor.
