Trackpad sluggish

A small amount of water go onto my daughter's laptop. She says that the trackpad is now acting slow and glitchy. Anyone have this issue ever and a suggestion? Thanks

If that doesn't help, take it in to the Apple Store, or try speeding up the trackpad tracking speed (System Preferences > Trackpad > Tracking Speed)

i would disasemble the laptop and take the trackpad out

dry everything with a tissue and air dryer

that should work
