Good morning all,
I've just started having a very random problem with my MacBook air. Basically when you move your finger across the trackpad it seems to 'click' on its own. For example it just highlights a whole page in Safari when just moving the pointer. Also when you do actually want to click on something the click 'sticks' and you can't unclick it and have to press escape to get it out of the lock!
I've had the back off the laptop and the battery doesn't seem swollen (I know this can cause issues by pressing against the trackpad) and I've tried to clean the pad as much as I can. I've also reset the PRAM. None of these seemed to have helped.
It's worth noting that I've just installed OSX 10.10 on it but have had that on since Developer Preview without issue.
I've had issues in the past where the pad would click drag on its own (almost like the pad is too sensitive) but has always been fixed with a clean etc.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated
