Trackpad stopped moving after update today

I have the newest unibody mbp i7 and I installed the updates today. My trackpad works fine in windows7 and works for 2seconds on reboot to OS X and then it stops moving. I can still left click with the trackpad though, but can not move the cursor.

I went to preference pane (with an external mouse) and clicked on Trackpad, but it gives me "Preference Error - Could not load trackpad preference pane".

Do I need to reinstall drivers? If so how do I do that.
