Trackpad stopped working after sleep

After sleep, the trackpad stopped working. This never happened before. I restarted and the trackpad works fine now. Any idea what caused this?

Beats me, but we'll cross that bridge if it ever happens again.

It happened to me a few times (never before 10.5.6 update) but when it happens I just disable/enable trackpad in system prefs that solves the problem.

How do you get to the System Pref without the mouse? I know apple has this feature where you can actually move the mouse with the keyboard, do you know which keys?
