My trackpad is stuck down in the click position and it drags to highlight/whatever everywhere. I can click if I press the bottom right corner but it doesn't always happen.

It fell off my sofa(the bit where you sit) and landed on the right side.

Is there anyway I could try to fix this or should I take it to a Apple store?

Can someone please help?

I managed to turn off the trackpad when another device is plugged in so I can use it again.

Have you tried prizing it up carefully with something small like a paperclip/safety pin? If not, just take it to an Apple store and don't mention that you dropped it unless it's obviously damaged elsewhere. I'm sure they'll sort it out for you.

The paperclip I tried didn't work but I put paper in and ran it across and it seems to work.

Are you sure the trackpad itself is physically stuck down? Most of the times I've seen this behavior, it's been a swelling battery (and a drop could potentially cause that, although it's somewhat unusual). Either way, you'll have to open it up, or take it to someone who can.
