I am trying to prolong the life of an old (2009) MacPro. It won't go beyond 10.7.5 and at Christmas I had to move to a new IMac so that my Photo Library could migrate to Photos.
We have moved the old Pro to our children's Play Room (they are 8 and 9) and as well as some YouTube they play a online web based learning game provided by their school. Neither of them like the mouse and prefer my wife's MacBook and the trackpad. We prefer them to keep off the laptop for obvious reasons !
I am thinking to pick up am external Trackpad for the Pro but wondering if it will work ? I know that 10.7.5 can support an internal trackpad on a laptop but will an external peripheral work on our old MacPro.
Does anyone have a recommendation ?
