Trackpad Swipe, Icons Don't Launch ???

Hi

When swiping the trackpad left or right, icons appear but when selected don't launch do i need to adjust settings?

They are apps that are already open. You are merely selecting to 'activate' that app i.e. bring it to the front.

Ohhh stupid me, thanks for resolving that for me.

Maybe you could help with another issue?

Using a 4 finger swipe up on the trackpad results in some pages going directly up. Using the same action some pages will go up but a little to the side. And again using a 4 finger swipe up some pages will go directly to the left.

What determines which way the pages go? is it possible to control this via any settings?
