Trackpad thumb pain on rMBP 13"

I have owned several Macbooks, and have never had this issue: on the 13" rMBP I am getting thumb pain from clicking on the trackpad. Has anyone ever heard of this?

Good suggestion. Personally, I switch between tapping and pressing as often as I can.

Thanks for the suggestion. Has anyone else experienced problems with this? It is actually getting so bad (I don't like using tap very much) that I am considering replacing it.

Try some Tylenol first if that doesn't work turn on tap to click. And set the 2 fingers to right click in the corner so you don't click when trying to scroll.
