My external mouse (logitech MX300 Optical) works fine when plugged in, and it used to block the trackpad from being active.

However, randomly it (the trackpad) works when the mouse is plugged in. The preferences pane has the option selected to block trackpad input when external mouse is present.. so I don't know what's going on.

It's no big deal.. just bothersome.

nah, you probably have 3rd party mouse drivers. The trackpad is only blocked when another mouse is using Apple's drivers. Add another driver to the mix and presto, insta trackpad thinking it's the only mouse around.

That's what I did.. but how do I get rid of those drivers? I tried to delete them but to no avail...

I'm a switcher so excuse my ignorance.. I'm sure its something simple..
