I have the 15" 2.4 i5

It seems a bit recessed in the left corner and a bit up from it.

I have a pic I don't really know if you will be able to see anything from it.

@Ross: Hmm.. that's a bit too recessed to my eyes.

To describe mine by touch of fingers, if I move my finger from the left of my palm rest all the way to the right, I feel just the notch of the trackpad in the middle. Its very very small. You can't even put your nail in it.

It feels near enough the same all the way round except from the left and right bottom corners which are more recessed.

Yes that'd be normal, because the 'pad' is fixed on its top two ends and the bottom two corners are physically clickable unlike the top. You can configure the bottom corners to be right click or something else, so not to worry.

The right side seems more flush then the left (left is a bit more recessed) but it's normal since numerous people have the same thing. No worries!
:D:apple:

oh yeah heres a good question about design flaws. look close on your 15" mbp keyboard with a light and look between the : button and " do u have 1 flush line indentation between those buttons? i do....

Thanks for all the replies.

Also dsprimal I don't have that line between those buttons as far as I can see.
