Hi

I have the opportunity to sell my 15" MBP for €800. It's one of the first Intel laptops, with a Core Duo (not Core 2 Duo) at 2Ghz inside. For €899 I can get the new white unibody Macbook.

I get more RAM, more power, a smaller but LED screen, a plastic case, better autonomy... I don't really need FW. I only see benefits.

Do you think I should change ?

You've got a sweet deal for you MBP.

I would suggest adding a bit extra money and getting 13" MBP.

The new MacBook will essentially rape the older laptop, even being at the bottom end of the food chain in the current lineup. There really is no comparison between the Penryns and the way old Core Duos (so old that even I don't remember Intel's codename for them:rolleyes:)

Dude are you serious? That's a sweet deal. I'd bet the graphics card is even better on the new MB.

Seal the deal before the other guy realizes the mistake and changes his mind!

Agreed, you got a live one there, take the cash and run straight to the Apple Store

Sell it... thats a great price. I would buy a refurb MPB 13"
In the US a refurb MBP 13 costs the same as a new MB.

OK finally I keep my beloved old MBP... I had two buyers but I discovered they both wanted to screw me with fake Paypal emails... :( In the same time this price was too high to be real...
