Someone is offering me their 64gb ipad 3g for my 64gb 11 inch macbook air
Both are in good condition, but i need to know if im getting ripped off or not?

I'd make the same trade (my 3g 64gb ipad, with apple case) for your 11" mba...so if it's a deal you want to make do it, but I think the MBA is worth more.

The macbook is worth a lot more than the iPad. Also the iPad 2 is due to be announced in the next month or so.

I would say it's not a good deal.
 
You're trading a used $999 device for a used $829 device. Take that as you will.

That said, the MacBook was just updated; the iPad is about to be updated. The trade might make more sense if you did it after the iPad 2 release. But mostly it depends on what you want.

Also, shame on that person who even made that offer. Does he/she have any heart? This person is trying to rip you off.
