Trade In For New Macbook Pro 16 Inch

Hello everyone

I was looking to buy the new macbook pro 16 inch. I bought the base iMac Pro right after it released. Would it be wise to sell the iMac Pro now as the maxed out Macbook pro would be able to supply me enough power? I definitely like using the iMac Pro but right now I wouldn't loose that much if I sold it. Do you think it will dip in resale price soon? Let me know what you all think.

Not sure an iMac's resell is effected that much by a new laptop. Seems like two different buyer groups.

apple will give you bottom of the barrel trade in price.it quoted me only 900 bucks for my 2700 2018 mbp 15inch. u r better off selling on swappa.

I was going to sell it most likely on eBay or swappa. I wasn't really asking about the macbook pro affecting the resale price, I was just wondering if you all think it will dip with the Mac pro or maybe a remodel very soon.
