Is it possible to trade in my mac book for an imac? If it is what money do I have to pay like is theire a diffrence. I would think it's not that much since macbooks are more expensive than the imac. reasin is we need a new family computer. My macbook is a year old by the way.

thanks.

I don't know the answer to that unfortunately but you could always call an Apple store and ask if you could do trade-ins. I know they sell refurbs so it's possible.

The iMac has two differences which makes it significantly faster than the MacBook, namely the SATA hard disk and a decent graphics card with dedicated video RAM. On top of that you of course get a much larger screen. If you don't need the portability the iMac is the much better machine IMO.

However, trading it in isn't normally an option. You'll most likely have to sell it and use the money to buy a new iMac.

in fact...

i think that if you're within your return period, and you're exchanging for another product, you can return the macbook without the restocking fee.

I think you have 14 days.
