1. I doubt there is a way but is it possible to trade in my first generation for a new one?

2. I have a 2 year warranty on mine so after 2 years do you think they will still have the original iphones in stock for replacements or will they have to give me the newest one?

nope. Sell your old one buy a new one.

Yes, they'll have replacements for you. I can still walk into a verizon store and get a replacement for my first gen chocolate. Even now they always seem to have them on hand in any color, they don't even need to get one sent in.
