Hey guys I have a fairly decent gaming rig that I have built over the past few years and it is completely overpowered for the games that I currently play (World of Warcraft, Starcraft 2, and eventually Diablo 3) I have an opportunity to sell it to a friend for the price of the 13 inch i5 macbook pro. Do you think that this is worth the downgrade in performance given the games that I will be playing on it? Just wondering what your input was.

Current PC specs:
core i7 920 OC @ 3.6 ghz
9gb ddr3 ram @1450 mhz
gtx560 ti 1gb
500gb wd caviar black (although all my media files are on my server)
620 watt power supply

I was in the EXACT same boat you were 2 months ago. I just sold a PC for the MBP in my sig and have no regrets. But i also stopped gaming a lot since I got addicted to PS3, even though FPS still sick on consoles.

i7 950
12GB DDR3 1600Mhz
2 x 60GB OCZ Vertex 2 (Raid0)
2 x 500GB HDDs (Data)
Nvidia 560
SB Audigy XTremeGamer
BluRay
Etc

My MBP is smoking fast after I upgraded to a SataIII Vertex 3 SSD and 8GB DDR3 1600Mhz ram. I have no regrets at all and I love it.
