Hi, new here, great site.

I am really interested in trading in my PowerMac G4 and LacieBlue 20" monitor (about 5 years old) for a new MacBook Pro.

I have contaced a few resellers with no reply. Can anyone who may have experience in trading in offer some buying advice?

Is it like a car, where you are likely to get more for your comp if you sell it privately rather then trading it in?

Any names of stores or resellers that may be interested in what I have in the Toronto area would be greatly appreciated. If anyone also knows of any sites where I can list my Mac for sale that would be great too. (If that is the better way to go).

Looking forward for some advice.

Thanks

I think you're best bet will be to sell it, and then use the cash to get whatever you want. Unfortunately though, I don't think you will get close to what an intel machine costs. the best places to sell would probably be ebay or craigslist (local).

Good Luck!
