I was just wondering if Apple had trade-in programs for their devices? I had heard somewhere that the did.

Basically saying that if I bring my iPad1 to the Apple store, I get some sort of discount on a new iPad2.
If I remember correctly, when I had the first iPod Touch, I traded it in and got a discount on a 2nd gen iPod touch (though I could be mistaken).

Thanks

You are probably referring the recycling program, where if you turn in an old iPod, you'd get 10% off the next one (not stackable).

I don't think this program exists for the iPad.

Ok cool. Thanks for the replies. I may just give it as a gift or sell.

I don't really need a new iPad, and Ill probably wait for the ipad3, not the HD one. iPad 2 wasn't a huge upgrade and i have an iPod touch 4 for the FaceTime and hd vid recording.
