I unfortunately bought the iPad Pro just a month ago and plan on it being the device to really help me get through nursing school primarily, but on top of that art design for fun amongst other things. How much can I expect to get back for my iPad if I decide to trade in and upgrade?

Looking to go to a cellular version with Verizon and probably from 10.5 to 12. Think Verizon will have any trade in promotions?

Don’t know how much as it depends on where you trade in.

Do you plan to trade in to Apple or another seller (such as Gazelle?)

I traded in my 2017 iPad Pro and between the trade in and pro-rated AC+ refund got back $500 from Gazelle months ago. I paid almost $1500 for it on launch day including accessories. With Apple, the trade in will be lower than $500.

If you bought at an the Apple store, even though it is past the return date you could ask to speak to the manager and see if they would allow for a return. Just explain your situation politely and bring your receipt, box etc. Understand that they may refuse. If they know you will return to spend as much or more $, sometimes they will yield.

Apple kindly let me return an iPad Mini 4 a month + in as I needed a Mac for school. Higher sale for them and they were nice about it. I was nice too and said, “I fully understand I am out of the return window, but I need to replace my Mac for school. Can I return this for a refund?” I gave them the option to say yes or no.

Good luck with whatever you do and with nursing school.
