Hey all
I have a sprint ipad 4 64gb model with 1 yr 2 months of applecare plus left.
The problem is that I have Verizon (family plan) w/ 30 gb of data. I do not want to pay for another carrier when I have access to so much data on my current plan, so I have been tethering. However, this kills my phone batter very quickly.
I have a chance (w/ the best buy sales going on right now) to trade in my ipad 4 for $283 and purchase an ipad mini retina 32 gb Verizon model. I can also get a prorated refund of my applecare balance, so I would effectively get $341.99 towards a new ipad. I can also couple this credit with a 10% off mover's coupon and get the 32gb ipad mini retina for a net cost of about $20.
What do you all think of this idea?
Casual user (my work requires me to edit pdf's with a full adobe acrobat suite, so I use my MBA 13" for that purpose), so the only downside in my opinion is losing the screen real estate.
