I just got an iPad Mini a month or so ago and love it. My wife has an iPad 2 and after playing around with the Mini she was wondering if I'd want to trade. After playing with hers for a bit I felt that the non-Retina screen on both was more noticeable on the iPad 2. Is it just me or is this true because of the larger screen?

Should I trade? There really isn't a spec difference is there?

I think you're correct. As far as I know, the iPad 2 and the iPad Mini have the same screen resolution, but since the Mini screen is smaller the pixel density is greater, making the screen look much more clear.

If I were you, I definitely wouldn't trade. If you love it, don't lose it.

You're negotiating with your wife? I'd just give mine what she wants so I don't have to worry about being murdered in my sleep.

My thoughts exactly. I'm just worried about my fragile woman hands not being able to support the added weight of a larger iPad. Carpal tunnel may lead to less foot massages down the road.
