trade my 16gb jailbreak phone for friend's 32gb non jailbreak?

Ok, so my friend wants to trade his 32gb that came preloaded with iOS 4.0.2. that means he is not able to jailbreak and unlock his phone. he wants to trade his phone for mine. should I do it?

It is obviously a trade up for me, but that means I won't be able to have any sort of jailbreak for who know how long (and I am VERY attached to having the jailbreak). and to be honest 16gb is more than enough memory for me that's why I chose 16gb to begin with. however, when iphone 5 rolls around I'll be able to sell the 32gb as opposed to the 16gb version for more money
