Which iPhone and what size? Any version of iPhone 5 is not a good trade based on the fact above.

That's a very good deal. Your iPhone came out in September 2012. The Galaxy S4 came out in April-May 2013 depending on your carrier. Not to mention the next iPhone is due pretty soon.

Very good deal to be honest.

you guys really think so? I would say it should be a straight trade considering they are the exact same price contract free. I would venture to say you could still get $500 for a perfect condition iphone 5.

I'm try 50 and the phone android loses value too quick but I want a bigger screen and I realize I don't use many programs. And google calendar seems to be better than all on apple.

Metro pcs just started carrying the s4. It is $549, my friend got one yesterday so that price is legit.

Careful on trading in your phone -- you might want a back-out path if you find the S4 isn't for you.

After all, the other guy is wanting an iphone and getting rid of the S4... :D

I always am weary of the "New in Box" trades on CL/ebay. If it is someone who used an upgrade they usually want the cash and already have the phone they want.

I would like to know the percentage in each direction. Many could not get rid of the iPhone fast enough when the S4 and One were released.

I traded the other way (my iphone 5 for S4) and don't miss the iphone. OP's deal is pretty decent. iphone 5 has been out for a while and due for an upgrade which will make current value plummet as it happened with 4s when 5 came out

I'm gonna give him 400 cash for it, doesn't want less than 100 plus my iphone so I'm gonna give him the cash. I'm on sprint so I guess it's priced at 400 because of sprint.

I'm gonna use it for a few days and decide if I want to keep or sell.

Can the s4 be carried in my pocket wirhout a case for a few days? I heard of screens breaking by itself.

I'd make sure the ESN is clean -- i.e. that it isn't a blacklisted device.
Not sure if there's an online or phone-call method or if you'd do better to meet him at a Sprint store.

Yeah he's gonna meet me at a sprint store.

I asked him why he selling and I got the typical "I live in Miami" response.

"I used someone elses upgrade my upgrades due tomorrow so its just for cash"

That's what I thought, he could get more for it.

decent deal. If you upgraded yourself and then had your iPhone unlocked, it would sell for about $500, leaving you with a balance of $150 because if you got your iPhone 5 at launch til now you're not upgrade eligible.

Sprint iphones are the cheapest ones out there. THey only work on sprint and overseas if its unlocked. Verizon/Tmo/ATT models get more than Sprint models. Thats why S4 was also $400. CL by my area has sprint iphones in the 350-400 range

Yep got my 5 opening day

If you upgrade your phone regularly, the value doesn't really lose that much. The Galaxy S3 is over a year old and still goes for over $300.

Also, keep in mind. The Note 2 is the same price as the Galaxy S4, yet the S4 has higher resale value. So it's hard to go buy the unsubsidized price 100% of the time.

traded my iphone5 black 16 straight up for a new S4 fyi..

was considering trading back but hanging on to the s4 untill the 5s is out.

To be honest, it's not a good deal unless you have the lowest capacity iPhone. And this is coming from someone who actually owns a S4 and detest ios.

Reason being is because you can always find someone who will overpay for an iPhone. Their popularity is just that immense

I actually just traded (no cash involved) my black iPhone 5 16gb on Verizon for a 2 week old white S4....sooooo keep pushing.

Just asking...

How much is my Sprint 16 gig iphone worth if I sell it? I'm looking for at least 325 for it, is that too high?
