Trade my MBP for IMac?

New here.. hello to everyone..
I have had my mbp 15" for almost a year now.. I LOVE it..
I special ordered it.. 500 g 7500rpm hard drive, 4gig ram, 2.8ghz dual 2 core processor....
Someone has offered to trade me for a 3 month old IMac 21.5" .. not sure of specs as yet.. comes with Apple Care..
Could someone help me make a decision here.. portability doesn't matter much to me as I use it at home anyway.. not for work ..
Should I keep my MBP or trade for the IMac?

Well you should find out the specs first.

But if the iMac is 3 months old, I guarantee you the specs will be higher.

If portability doesn't matter to you, I say go for it. Better specs, great screen, and AppleCare.

Since portability doesn't matter to you, I say trade it. Since it's a newer model, you can always sell it if it doesn't fit your needs.
