Traded to Gamestop, forgot to remove SIM?

I traded my AT&T iPhone 5 to Gamestop after porting my number to Verizon and terminating my contract early. I restored my iPhone 5 as well.

I forgot to take the SIM out of my iPhone 5 and destroy it before trading it to Gamestop.

Should I be worried about anything? Or is the SIM useless once the number is ported out and the contract terminated?
