Trading in Nike S3 without Nike Band

Took advantage of the $200 credit and got the SS S7 today. However I ordered the sport band and hate it and I swapped it with my Nike band from my S3 and love it so much I’m deciding I should keep it. However, would VZ give me problems if I returned my original Nike S3 with the sport band? Everything else is functional and I doubt they would care what band I used.

Does Verizon want you to turn in a band? When I do the trade-in with Apple, they only want the watch itself.

Check the return box or email instructions carefully from Verizon- most trade-in's don't require bands to be sent back.

As Night Spring mentioned, Apple just wants the watch body itself, similar to sending iPhone without case/power cord/earbuds.

The box with the return instructions are only applicable to a mobile device. I’ll see if I can find something in my email. But it’s a relief knowing Apple doesn’t accept the bands.

Does the instruction mention not needing to turn in accessories? If so you are safe keeping the band, because it's an accessory.

Yeah no accessories. I confirmed with a VZ employee on Reddit that only the watch should be returned. No accessories, including the band. Yes!

You only need to return the watch. You get to keep all of the accessories, including the charger.

Update. VZ approved the trade in without the bands.
