I found someone in my area who wants to trade his rev. 1 15" Macbook Pro (2.0GHz 2GB ram 80GB HD Superdrive) for my rev. 1 Blackbook (2.0Ghz 1GB ram 80GB HD Superdrive) because he wants a more portable laptop and doesnt need the graphics card. This sounds like a pretty sweet trade, right? At least in terms of resale value?

If his macbook pro has no issues and is in mint condition (or same as yours) I say yes it is a sweet deal. But I have a feeling there is something wrong with this deal.

Hmm. Good trade if the MBP is mint w/ nothing wrong with it. Kinda fishy if you ask me.

I think a checkup with a genius would be a good idea.

Yeh, seems almost too good to be true. Amazing deal if it's OK. I'd jump on that in a heartbeat. I mean, why wouldn't he just eBay the thing for $1200 and buy a new MacBook?
