I'm interested in purchasing a train simulator game a la Train Simulator 2015 (http://store.steampowered.com/app/24010/) for my Mac - one where you can get behind the wheel (so to speak) and drive trains. Looking around Steam, I'm not finding much, and what is there (e.g., Trainz, Cities in Motion) isn't exactly what I'm looking for. Besides buying a copy of Windows and running it through bootcamp/parallels/etc., does anyone have any recommendations for a good train simulator game?

As an excuse to bump my thread, I'll ask: Does anyone know of the developer's plans to port this game to Mac? I found a forum post by a (purported) employee of the developer who said they were looking into a port, but who knows how credible that is. Would love a native port - I've seen lots of simulator games (e.g., Euro Truck, Sim City, Tropico, Cities in Motion) that are universal, so it at least seems reasonable that it could happen.
