Hi everyone. Im New to video editing outside of some minor stuff on iMovie. I'm a stand up comedian and will be launching a YouTube Channel and Sketch Comedy site. So there's not going to be super advanced stuff here, but I would like it to be professional and would like to do some green screen and pop up stuff.

From what I've seen FCPX seems to be a good fit and I've the basics down (to the level of an IMovie). I'm too far out to attend any live classes for training so was wondering if anyone can recommend some online training? I'm utilizing YouTube for sure, but would like some sort of structured material as well. I'm ok with paying for it as long as it's worth it.

Thanks everyone!

You could try udemy (www.udemy.com) they are an online teaching site where public/teaching professionals can put their own courses.

I've not used them for FCPX but for other stuff and they are quite good.

Have a look at the site and search for Final Cut Pro X and you'll find a number of courses there.
