Transamerica - thumbs up.

I just got this movie on DVD and WOW, what a great film.

The movie got three Oscars--well deserved.

Without turning this political, it helped me to understand issues - even my own--that GLBT people face. But that's not what this film is about, really. It's really about people being comfortable in their own skin - whatever that may be.

Awesome flick.

I was squirming when the son wanted to marry her (and wanted to consummate his love), knowing what the audience knows. It was a good film.

Not fussed, personally. Hear it has good performances but far too neat and tidy an ending. Trannie films turn me off.

I saw that movie too, only place in London showing it when it came out was some little cinema in Mayfair. Even though its in French, it's still a good one.

I just watched it and it very much messed with my head. At least my therapist will stop bugging me to see it and we'll actually have something to talk about next time I see her.
