Transcend 8GB kit - ?

Hi,
Today in an IStore I asked for other options to increase my RAM to 8GB. The apple option sets me back by 14000INR but the advisor told me that third party options are cheaper. I dont have crucial delivering to my country and he said transcend has 8gb kit for MBP costing just 4000INR. Thats a big difference.

Has anyone used transcend 8GB kit ?
Experiences ?

You will always get varying opinions on any 3rd party memory. Much of it is all the same but simply rebranded with a different brand name. It's more important to get it from a reputable dealer with a good warranty should it fail.

It's so cheap these days that you probably can't go wrong with any of them.
