I only joined formally yesterday and immediately got pulled up posting a comment in wrong forum when it seemed relevant as it was to do with the FACT that this sd card is problematic in my late 2013 air. I have Catalina 15.3 OS and put in the card on 6Jan. I found that it worked well immediately but as soon as put Air to sleep and woke up Air the SD card would not mount so it meant I had to reboot to get it to remount. I read a lot of praise and promo youtube stuff that praised this card but there was also a lot of people experiencing the same issue as I. I use the Jet Lite tool which is a binary option and set it on power save which supposedly meant that the card would not unmount! Admittedly I have found recently as my Air is plugged into a larger screen through a thunderbolt hdmi connector that if the screen/lid is down and power lead plugged in I can keep the lid closed and just wake up bigger screen and the MBA doesn't need to be opened but this seems to trigger the dismount of the Transcend card and requires a reboot so at present if I keep the lid open and put mac to sleep it will wake and the card remounts. There are comments about the possibility that the mac is not actually deep sleeping with the card in and some issues with battery life keeping it plugged in but hey I am happy to compromise as I don't take this Air Book around but keep it on my desk. It was nice and tidy closing the lid and letting it sleep but I am seeing how it goes with lid open and sleeping and waking BUT seeing that the SD card doesn't unmount. But I think that this is an issue that exists with such cards and MacOS or possibly the latest OS as I have read that earlier OS and Air don't dismount the card ? So who knows and as for the first post reprimand it seems that a lot of MacBook pro users are experiencing same issue so I guess someone will tell me to repost in Pro forum.
