transcribing a tape

is there an application where the computer can transcribe a tape for you, typed out?

for example, I have an tape with an interview on it that I need to type up. and I'm wondering if there is something that will recognize the words...

I know it's far fetched, but hey... it does not hurt to check, right?

Your choices boil down to ViaVoice and iListen.

Both of these really kind of need a training process: that is, you need to teach the software to understand your speech well, and you also need to learn how to speak in a way that the software will understand (not so different from those awful telephone voice menus, really).

This could be problematic for an interview, obviously.
