Transfer Address book contacts from Mac to iPhone 5

Hi to all.
I am finding it difficult to transfer my Address book contacts from MacBookPro to iPhone 5.
MacBookPro version = 10.7.2
iPhone 5 = iOS 6.1.3
Kindly guide.

Activate iCloud on both devices, and make sure that your contact list syncs with iCloud on both of them.
