Hello, I'm looking to replace the hard
Drive on my MacBook pro. For the best results, instead of cloning my current hard drive, I'm trying to transfer only my important applications and documents and start fresh. But theres one problem. I've paid for most of the applications (such as Microsoft Office, and TotalFinder), but don't want to pay for them again. If I just copied the app itself
To the hard drive, would the licence transfer along with it? Or would I have to dig through finder and find it? Thanks!

Restore them from a time machine backup. Anything bought through the app store will be available for install again as long as you use the same ID to log in.
