iPod Transfer Applecare on old iPod to new iPod?

Hey guys,

I think I'm going to sell my iPod color 20GB for the new iPod with Video. Anyways, I was wondering if I can transfer my AppleCare on my iPod to my new iPod video? Is that at all possible?

i don't think so, it's not worth their while to have you switching over your warranty every time a new ipod comes out.

If you're returning the old one- I think. That's what tech support told me when they were moving me from my 40 to 60...I still haven't done that. Crap.

I'm selling the old one on ebay, so I'd want to take the AppleCare off the iPod and put re add it to the new one.
