Transfer apps

How do I transfer apps that are on my ipod touch, to my iphone. They are in my itunes on my computer but not in my purchased section on the Iphone app store.

How do I transfer apps that are on my ipod touch, to my iphone. They are in my itunes on my computer but not in my purchased section on the Iphone app store.

Drag them from your app library in iTunes to your device in the left panel (when plugged in).

I tried this and It would not let me, though this did work with the music.

I tried this and It would not let me, though this did work with the music.

Click your device in the left, click the "Apps" tab in the middle screen next to "Info", check the box next to "Sync Apps" in big text, and uncheck "Automatically sync new apps" and then click the apply button.

Now you can drag apps over.
