Transfer contacts, messages, etc to new iPhone

Hi all. I'm expecting to receive my iPhone 6 tomorrow. I have ATT and I know the local stores are going to be packed and busy for most of the day. Last year, when I got the 5s I took it along with my iPhone 4 to the store and the associate was able to transfer all my contacts, messages and such to the iPhone 5s in like about 2 minutes. I know there's iTunes for the apps but Is there anyway I can do the contact transfer part on my own besides entering in the info one by one?

If you are using iCloud they should all be in there and will populate automatically.
