Transfer data from AT&T to Verizon

I have an AT&T iPhone at 4.3.2 and recently switched to Verizon. When I try to restore my data, it doesn't show my most recent data, which was backed up today.

Is it not possible to restore from AT&T iPhone to Verizon?

problem is if you had a backup from 4.3.2 on your att iphone and you wanted to restore your data to the iphone in 4.2.7 it might not be possible because it would be incompatible but I am not sure.
