Hey guys,
I have a jailbroken 1.0.2 Touch, but am looking to upgrade. Is it possible to transfer all my apps and prefs to the new Touch with out having to redo everything? I have notes and lockbox items amongst things that I would to have to retype and re-enter everything.

Thanks

A new Ipod or upgrade?

unlike the unhelpful post above I shall be helpful.

in word no you cant transfer from ipod to ipod. I tried backing up the applications folder once and that just botched the pod up so unfortunately your just gonna have to either put up with 1.0.2 and all your apps or upgrade and start a fresh.

By upgrade, I meant upgrade my 8GB to a 16GB. But want to transfer my apps, settings and any files from the 8Gig over to the 16gig. But I had a hunch I'd probably have to start fresh. But on the up side, it's pretty easy to get a fresh 1.0.4 jailbroken, isn't it?

Any chance that new iPods won't be downgradable to 1.0.1?
