Transfer files from AEBS with hard disk disconnects internet?

Hi people, i'm using my AEBS as a local network storage by connecting it to a hard disk. The thing is when i transfer files from the hard disk to my mac, my internet connection will go down and subsequently disconnect. Not until I cancel the operation and disconnect my hard disk from my AEBS, will I get my internet back.

Anyone getting this kind of problems with my kind of set up?
