Just bought a new macbookpro, and I ordered an SSD but not sure whats the easiest way to transfer all the files to the SSD. Im not aware of a way to reinstall OS without buying a new one but I also don't want to redownload all my files (quite a lot)..

Whats the easiest way to transfer the files from my hd to new ssd?

Carbon Copy Cloner (you will need an external drive enclosure to put the SSD in while you do the transfer, or to put the hard drive in after you install the SSD and do the transfer). Fastest and easiest way in most cases.
