I have a Final Cut Pro sequence which I want to open in iMovie 9 to easily share on YouTube. What is the best format to export so iMovie can import. So far, all the exported formats I've tried are greyed out when I try to open with iMovie.

Can this be done without compressing?

File-->Export-->QT Movie.

You can also "share" it to youtube, if you're using version 7. Not sure if previous versions had this feature, I can't remember...but it's in the same place. (Click File-->Share-->Choose Where).... Down and dirty way to export direct from FCP to YouTube, BluRay, DVD, iPhone, et al.
